WeChat Pay accepted at RRHI stores in RP Manila

Chinese nationals with WeChat Pay accounts may now use the mobile app to pay at Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Supermarket, Handyman, Robinsons Appliances, Toys “R” Us and Daiso Japan in Robinsons Place Manila.

Launched last March 1, 2018 and in partnership with Asia United Bank, Robinsons Retail is the country’s first multi-format modern retailer to include WeChat Pay in its payment options.

We Chat Pay is the biggest social and payment app in China, where digital transactions have become the norm.  With Chinese tourists being one of the Philippines’ most frequent visitors, the partnership is intended to allow convenience and ease when buying their goods from local stores.
