Robinsons Supermarket continues support for World Vision
RSC and Unilever turnover P1.3 million to World Vision.
On their ninth year of commitment to the Filipino youth, Robinsons Supermarket with once again supported World Vision. The relief, development and advocacy organization received a total of over Php3.6 million worth of donations from various in store programs held throughout 2017. The turnover was held last March 14, 2018 at the Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. Libis Head Office with representatives from partner suppliers with the largest contributions, namely Unilever, Universal Robina Corporation, and San Miguel PureFoods.
RSC and Universal Robina Corporation turnover Php500 thousand to World Vision.
The fund will be used to benefit the 128 Robinsons Supermarket-sponsored World Vision kids from Malabon, Manila. The donation may also serve as a calamity fund, as well as a means to implement community development projects
RSC and San Miguel PureFoods turnover Php501 thousand to World Vision.
The donations were received by Jun Godornes, Resource Development Director and World Vision and Captain Armando Balilo of the Philippine Coast Guard. Capt. Balilo was once a beneficiary of the World Vision kid sponsorship program and is now a board member of the organization.
