In time for the start of the school season, Robinsons Appliances donated new backpacks to 350 Gogon Elementary school students in Virac, Catanduanes last June 14, 2019. A short program including a Financing Literacy seminar hosted by Home Credit was also attended by parents, students and faculty members of the school.
The donation and seminar kicked off Robinsons Appliances’ “Back to School” Campaign, where customers who purchase participating items get to name a bag for donation. The new backpacks, with a short note from customers, were handed personally by Robinsons Appliances management team to the beneficiaries. Students and parents went home using the backpacks filled with prizes from fun games hosted by Home Credit during their talk. Gogon Elementary school is expected to be the first recipient of many socially-driven activities with the “Shop to Share” program of Robinsons Appliances.
“More than just the wide selection of quality brands of appliances available in our stores, we aim to create initiatives that connect our brand and our customers to local communities. We are excited to see many more smiles as we expand the reach of our ‘Shop to Share’ program,” said Donna San Luis, Marketing Manager of Robinsons Appliances.
