Southstar Drug's Run for Wellness back on its 11th edition
Southstar Drug’s Run for Wellness is back on its 11th edition with over 3,000 people participating in Clark and Naga.
As part of Southstar Drug’s 85th anniversary celebrations, this year’s Run for Wellness featured the theme “Kolor Fest” kicking off in Clark, Pampanga on August 21 and culminating in Naga City on September 11 with participants running across three tracks – 3K, 5K, and 10K. Runners were also treated with different activities and giveaways from over 60 brand partners of Southstar Drug.
The kickoff event in Clark was supported by the local government of Angeles City, represented by Vice Mayor Maria Vicenta L. Vega-Cabigting, and Clark Development Corporation (CDC) through its President, Police Brigadier Gen. Manuel R. Gaerlan (Ret.), represented by CDC Promotions Division Tourism Officer Marlon Guevarra.
The culminating event in Naga, where Southstar Drug was founded in 1937 by Tomas Dy-Makao, was also fully supported by the local government of Naga City lead by Mayor Nelson S. Legacion. The run also coincided with this year’s Peñafrancia Festival and was included in the official roster of events during the celebrations.
