The Marketplace, Save Philippine Seas organize coastal cleanup
The Marketplace, in partnership with Save Philippine Seas, organized a coastal cleanup activity on May 17, 2024 at the South Road Properties in Cebu City.
The activity is part of The Marketplace’s Summer Eco-bag Campaign and Save Philippine Seas’ Marine Litter Learning Kit workshop, which aim to raise awareness on marine litter and inspire practical actions to reduce it.
"Our commitment to sustainability is at the core of how we do business at The Marketplace and we hope to continue empowering our people and our customers towards making a positive impact on the environment,” said Managing Director Christine Tueres.
The Marketplace also made a donation to Save Philippine Seas, represented by marine conservationist and Executive Director Anna Oposa and Creative Director Gab Paloma, to support their ongoing efforts in protecting marine resources and promoting environmental education.
