The Marketplace highlights local food producers at Fresh Market 2024

The Marketplace honored Filipino farmers and fisherfolk through its recently concluded Fresh Market pop-up from July 11 to 14, 2024 at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City.

During the event, customers were able to purchase fresh produce and other items directly sourced from partner farmers and fisherfolk. By choosing these products, customers made a meaningful impact towards supporting local agriculture, fisheries, and other industries.

Present during the event were the following partners who were each given a cash token and a grocery package from The Marketplace— Rodel Olarte Olan of Gourmet Farms, Ambrocia Hernandez of San Luis Farmers Association, Rondie Zambrano Omongos of Dizon Farms, Fredel Mued of Fishta Seafood, Joselito Lundag of Mayani, and Jun Parai of NxtLvl Farms.
