Food segment opens 5th distribution center
The food segment of Robinsons Retail opened its fifth distribution center in Calamba, Laguna on October 7, 2024. The segment consists of five banners: Robinsons Supermarket, The Marketplace, Shopwise, Robinsons Easymart, and Uncle John's.
With close to 40,000 square meters of space and the capacity to handle nearly 30,000 pallet positions, the new Calamba facility enables enhanced inventory management and streamlined logistics, which would result to even more efficient replenishment and consistent stock levels for our stores.
“By continuously enhancing operational efficiency, we’re ensuring that as we expand, our service levels remain high and our shoppers are able to buy what they need when they need it. This facility supports our long-term vision of building a robust and reliable supply chain that can grow with the demands of our regional markets,” said Big Formats Managing Director Christine O.
