Through a partnership between Robinsons Retail and E-mart, South Korea’s leading retailer, No Brand opened its first store in the Philippines at Robinsons Galleria last November 22, 2019. Now bringing its value-driven and no-frills appeal to the Filipino market, No Brand was first launched in 2015 in Korea as a customer-centric grocery store which prioritizes quality over brand and fancy packaging, hence the name “No Brand.”
“It’s not the brand. It’s the customer” reads the slogan of the No Brand store. It offers a wide variety of private labels and curated products at affordable prices, while delivering the level of quality that is at par with popular branded products in the market. Choices range from chocolates, potato chips, cereals, Korean ice-cream to non-food products like tissue, laundry detergent, diapers and more.

“We are confident that, together, we will be able to widen the presence of No Brand in the Philippines by opening more branches,” says Song Man Joon, Senior Vice-President of No Brand Division, E-mart.
“No Brand’s philosophy of advocating smart shopping is aligned with Robinsons Retail’s mission of providing top quality products at prices customers can well afford. We are excited and proud to partner with them,” says Jody Gadia, Managing Director for No Brand and Robinsons Retail’s Supermarket Segment.
No Brand currently has 258 branches across South Korea, with overseas locations in Mongolia, Vietnam, and now, the Philippines. The second No Brand store in the country is scheduled to open in December 2019 at Robinsons Galleria South.
