Christine Tueres recognized as Sustainability Champion by Philippine SEC

We would like to thank the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for recognizing Christine "Tin" O. Tueres as Private Sector Sustainability Champion at the 2nd SEC Gender and Development (GAD) Awards held on November 24, 2023 during the 10th annual Corporate Governance Forum of the SEC and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).

Tin has demonstrated exemplary leadership in advancing sustainable practices at Robinsons Retail. When she was Group General Manager of Robinsons Retail’s Drugstore Segment—comprised of Southstar Drug, TGP, and Rose Pharmacy—she lead initiatives that have fostered improved access to healthcare, diversity and inclusion, and responsible consumption and production.

“Together, we will continue to strive for excellence in sustainability with a shared vision of a world where caring a little more is the norm, not the exception,” said Tin, who is currently the Group General Manager for Robinsons Supermarket and No Brand Philippines.

Presenting the award were SEC Commissioner McJill Bryant Fernandez, PSE COO Roel Refran, and Global Reporting Initiative Country Manager Maria Katreena Pillejera.
