Run for Wellness 2024 gathers 3,000 in Naga

Southstar Drug, in partnership with Maxicare, successfully concluded its 13th annual Run for Wellness in Naga City, Bicol last September 15, 2024.

Close to 3,000 runners braved the rains and participated in the run, which was part of the city’s annual Peñafrancia Festival. A portion of the proceeds raised during the run were given to the City Government of Naga’s Persons with Disability Affairs Office to support programs aimed at improving the lives of persons with disabilities like better access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and employment opportunities while also promoting inclusivity and equal participation in the local community.

Present during the run was Naga City Mayor Atty. Nelson Legacion and other local government officials alongside Southstar, Maxicare, and Robinsons Malls officials.

Southstar Drug was founded in Naga City in 1937, and is now one of the oldest and largest continuously operating drugstore chains the Philippines.
