Appointment of Thaddeus Sanchez as General Manager of Southstar Drug

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Thaddeus "Thad" L. Sanchez as General Manager of Southstar Drug, effective November 1, 2024.

With close to 10 years of experience in drugstores and 12 years in pharmaceuticals, Thad first joined Southstar Drug in 2016 as Operations AVP, managing 412 stores. He was appointed Deputy GM in 2022 and oversaw merchandising, supply chain management, and store expansion. Under his leadership, we’ve seen process improvements in our distribution centers and an increase in our store network to 672 stores as of July 2024.

Thad succeeds outgoing GM Mariel L. Crisostomo, who, after a successful tenure, has chosen to pursue new personal endeavors and spend more time with her family. Thad will continue to work with Group GM Joanne Dawn Seno-Arceo towards driving further innovation and growth.
